Empowered Daughters Publishing Services

Thank you for considering Empowered Daughters Publishing Service. My desire is to come alongside Christian authors to help them present their message with excellence, professionalism, and care.

Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing services.

Mission

Empowered Daughters Publishing Services exists to support books that honor God, align with biblical Christian values, and encourage women to grow in wisdom and faith.

Because of this mission, every project is reviewed individually. I reserve the right to decline any manuscript or project that does not align with the purposes and values of this ministry.

If I decline a project before work begins, any deposit or payment made will be refunded in full.

Services Provided

Publishing services may include:

  • Interior book formatting

  • Chapter formatting

  • Table of Contents

  • Copyright Page

  • Headers and page numbering

  • Front title and dedication pages

  • Scripture Index

  • KDP-ready print files

  • Custom basic cover design (when purchased)

Services not specifically listed in your purchase are not included.

What Is Not Included

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, services do not include:

  • Proofreading

  • Copy editing

  • Developmental editing

  • Ghostwriting

  • Marketing

  • Book Promotion

  • Guaranteed acceptance by Amazon KDP or any other publisher

The author is responsible for the accuracy of all manuscript content before formatting begins.

Deposit

A $75 deposit is required before work begins.

The deposit reserves your place in my schedule and covers the initial review and project setup.

If I decline your project before work begins, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Once formatting or design work has begun, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Payment

The remaining balance in due before final files are delivered.

Completed files will not be released until payment has been received in full.

Revisions

Reasonable formatting revisions are included.

Changes involving new content, rewritten chapters, additional images, or significant design changes after formatting has begun may require an additional fee.

Author Responsibilities

The author agrees to:

  • Submit the final manuscript before formatting begins

  • Ensure they own or have permission to use all text and images

  • Respond promptly to requests for information

  • Carefully review the final proof before publication

Copyright

The author retains 100% ownership of all copyrights, intellectual property, royalties, and publishing rights.

Empowered Daughters Publishing Services does not claim ownership of your work and will not be due any monies to be paid after the initial formatting and or cover work is completed and paid for.

Unless otherwise requested by the author and agreed upon by Empowered Daughters Publishing Services, the copyright page will include the credit: “Formatting services provided by Empowered Daughters Publishing Services.” This credit does not affect the author’s ownership or copyright of the work.

Project Timeline

Turnaround time varies depending on project length and current workload.

Estimated completion dates are provided as a courtesy and may change due to revisions, delays in communication, or unforeseen circumstances.

Right To Decline Service

I reserve the right to decline or discontinue any project that:

  • Conflicts with biblical Christian values- I decide what constitutes as conflicting

  • Contains material inconsistent with the mission of Empowered Daughters Publishing Services

  • Involves illegal, defamatory, hateful or plagiarized content.

  • Cannot be reasonably completed as requested

If work has not begun, any payment received will be refunded in full.

Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to produce professional, high-quality files, Empowered Daughters Publishing Services is not responsible for:

  • Printing errors made by third-party printers

  • Amazon KDP policy changes

  • Delays caused by third-party services

  • Lost sales

  • Business losses

  • Typographical or factual errors remaining in the manuscript supplied by the author

Acceptance

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Publishing Services Agreement.
