Why pay for professional publishing services?

You’ve written the book. Now you need it to look professional to be able to compete with other books on the market.

Publishing a book involved much more than uploading a manuscript and choosing a cover. Professional formatting, proper front and back matter, consistent typography, page layout, copyright information, print specifications, and cover design all contribute to the way readers perceive your work.

Small details matter. Uneven spacing, inconsistent fonts, poorly formatted chapter openings, no publishing information, an improperly designed table of contents, the absence of headers and footers - all of these things can make an otherwise excellently written book feel unfinished.

Royalties & Ownership

Authors keep 100% ownership of their work and retain all royalties from their books.

Payments made to Empowered Daughters Publishing Services are for formatting, design, and publishing preparation services only. There are no ongoing fees or royalty percentages collected.

Please note that I do not provide traditional proofreading, developmental editing, or rewriting services. Authors remain responsible for the final written content of their manuscripts.

Empowered Daughters Publishing Services was created to support books that honor God, align with Christian values and empower the daughters of God to live in wisdom. Because of this mission, each project is reviewed individually, and I reserve the right to decline manuscripts or projects that do no align with the purpose and values of this ministry.

A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to reserve your project and begin work. If Empowered Daughters Publishing Services declines your project before work begins, the deposit will be refunded in full. Once work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If the client cancels the project after work has begun, any refund beyond the deposit will be determined based on the amount of work completed.
